Social Engagement: Therapeutic Small Groups (Teens & Adults 12+)
Social Engagement is a therapeutic group, led by our Speech-Language Pathologist and Occupational Therapist, that help teens and adults with Down syndrome to use a self-determined approach to identify and complete a project-based learning activity.
The group will facilitate social awareness, responsible decision-making, and relationship building by planning and executing a project that will contribute to the Down Syndrome Innovations community and Mission, Kansas neighborhood.
Please note: we have a capacity of 8 participants. Families will be notified if the group is full and a waiting list has been started.
