2022 – A Year of Impact

At the start of each year, it’s important for us to reflect on the impact of our mission delivery—and understand what went well as well as areas where we can strive to improve.

Back in 2020, when we leaned into our mission and set our sights on becoming “a lifespan partner for people with Down syndrome,” we never dreamed that in 2022 we would serve 840 families!

In fact, when the world shut down due to the worldwide pandemic, our team went back to the drawing board to redesign our services and supports that would enable people with Down syndrome—of ALL ages—live life to its fullest potential. With your engagement and support, we rolled out these re-imagined services in 2021 within our new, Lifelong Learning Campus that gave us the space, technology, and resources required to grow our services for all ages. Now, here we are: a full year into providing services to all ages! I am proud of the work that we have accomplished together, serving more families than ever before—in passionate, innovative and life-changing ways!

I want to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude for each of you and your contribution to our mission over the last 38 years. Without you, none of this would be possible—and we stand on your shoulders as we pave the way for the future. It doesn’t go unnoticed that your time, energy, and resources you invested in our mission have allowed us to dream big. Thank you!

I am thrilled to share our collective impact in 2022. Our focus on our data infrastructure enables us to have insights into our service delivery in real-time, as well as to be able to publicly share these outcomes that will help facilitate our continued growth. I hope you will take a moment to review this impact report and understand the important role you continue to play on this journey. I am truly proud of the tireless efforts of our team to meet and serve each family, exactly where they are.

We are building the foundation each and every day as we serve families, near and far, and measure our impact while also not being afraid to change course as needed, based on the unique needs of the families we serve. Your generosity makes this possible.

Warmest regards,

Jason
