Our Adult Continuing Education (ACE) services include various opportunities for education, engagement and social enrichment, designed to maximize independence and promote productive community participation.
ACE programming offerings include:
ACE Skill Building and Social Groups (in-person and virtual options) – These groups are focused on building friendships and enjoying conversation in a low-pressure and casual environment.
ACE Academy is an innovative and intensive educational program offering a diverse range of classes, specifically tailored to the needs and interests of adults with Down syndrome. Classes are facilitated by our highly trained team of educators, specialists and therapists who work together who work together to provide a supportive and engaging environment. Classes run two days per week from 1:00-3:00 PM.
ACE Day Services is a full day of programming with curriculum based on key elements of our lifespan services framework, including instruction in Daily Living skills, Health and Wellness, Vocational Development, Communication, Community Engagement, Social and Emotional skills and Personal Safety. Individuals may attend ACE Day Services two days per week from 9:00-3:30.
