Infant massage has been around for centuries, with benefits such as promoting bonding, reducing tension, improving body awareness, and supporting motor development. In this 3-class series, you will learn and practice massage techniques following the Loving Touch ® Infant Massage method. Class will also include tips and tricks for supporting motor development at this young age.
 
EVENT CAPACITY: 10 Family Maximum: a reservation includes an infant and 1-2 caregivers. Families will be provided with this opportunity based on the sequence of registration (first come, first served), and some families may be informed they are on a waiting list for a future opportunity.

Lauren Abelson

Presenter Bio: Lauren Abelson, PT, DPT, NCS, CIMI® is a physical therapist specializing in pediatrics and neurologic physical therapy. She works in private practice and as an adjunct faculty member in the physical therapy program at Rockhurst University. Lauren’s love for the power of therapeutic touch led her to also become a Certified Infant Massage Instructor.
